A visit to the Seaton Tramway

Ok, now I know i’m called “OldSteamers” which means this site is about steam trains and railways, but whenever I visit

Devon I always go to the Seaton Tramway .

Ok, this is Trams, but oh well!

It is a brilliant little tramway line which runs through some lovely scenery, alongside the River Axe, through a nature reserve, all the way from Seaton to Colyford (That’s 3 miles!)

Of course you get a good view of it all as well from the double decker Tram cars!

Still, for August when I went there, it was sunny, very suprising I hear you say!

It was a lovely day out, and I even got my picture taken at the controls of car No.6… I highly recomend visiting the ST if you’re around the area!
