(Open Day at the Bath & West Railway)

On the first weekend in October, Essmee held it’s annual Open Day.
Lots of different locomotives turned out for the event, including: Steam, Petrol and Electric powered locos!
No.3 ‘Tinkerbell’ from the ESR visited, after her owner was invited to bring her along!
It was great to see two 2.4.2 Tinkerbell class locos running on the same line!
Fourtunely the rain held off on both days too!
As well as trains on the B&WR there were also Traction engines and a Steam Car.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself and i’m sure everyone else who went to the open day would say the same!
Next time the open day comes around I hope to member of Essmee!
