Molly 2 was built in 1958 by Ruston Hornsby to work on the Alderney Breakwater.
The loco was sent over in kit form, sue to no Cranes being man enough to lift the heavy loco, which has slabs in the frames to make her even heavier to improve Traction!
She is powered by an 88BHP 4 cylinder Ruston Diesel Engine and Air braking system.
She is unable to haul trains on the line, due to being fitted with Buckeye couplings rather that Hook and Chain.
She has recently been returned to working order, and is now the Railways principle shunting locomotive.
