Tinkerbell class 0-4-2T 'Ladybird' running past the Fountain

The B&WR is based in the grounds of the famous Bath & West Show Ground!

In it’s Early life it was a very short loop that ran around the workshop/clubhouse.

It was then extended to run along a long straight!
Once again it was extended to run as it is today, it now runs for a over half a mile!
It’s a great little line with plenty going on!
The line is operated by the East Somerset Society of Model & Experimental Engineers!
It does not run all the time! Please check the website for event dates etc…

FUTURE PLANS:

There is currently a yard project going on, mainly used for Open days. In 5 inch gauge, this joins on with the Duel Gauge on the bank.

As well as this I believe there is a new loco being designed which to me resembles a “Thomas II” design.
