No.60019 ‘Bittern’ at Warminster
Warminster has had it’s fair share of steam through this year, including ‘Oliver Cromwell’ twice, ‘Tangmere’ a couple of times, ‘Clan line’ and ‘Bittern’!
On December 1st 2009, No.60019 ‘Bittern’ past through Warminster with the Cathedrals Express. It was the second time that Bittern had past through.
The first was back in December last year, it was believed to be the first ever A4 class locmotive to pass through the town.
On that day, over 200 people turned out on the platforms to see her.
