New Loco at the Cranmore Miniature Railway
The Cranmore Miniature Railway has a new locomotive.
The CMRs new 0-4-0 Petrol Loco 'The Jacobite'
It is a Narrow gauge outline Diesel loco, powered by a Petrol engine.
Called ‘The Jacobite’ (Don’t ask me why), it is in a blue livery and even has it’s own Wagon that can carry goods or passengers!
It’s fairly powerful, capable of hauling 8 or 9 adults, quite a load for the CMR, which is the amount we can haul with the coaching stock we have.
Mind you, now with this loco, and it’s own coach, Top ‘N’ Tailing with the powerful ’Tinkerbell’, we can haul about 4 or maybe 5 more people than before.
