No.3 Tinkerbell Re-Opens Talgarth Station!

Recreation Railways BIG event of the year! Re-opening Talgarth Station! This was RRs Re-Creation event for 2011.
It was done as part of the Talgarth Festival of the Black Mountains. Saturday started off with lovely Sunshine and we ran till midday, but some Technical difficulties with Tinkerbell stopped us from running for most of the afternoon!
Sunday however was again Sunny for most of the day apart from one heavy downpour! Tinkerbell was up and down the track non-stop!
It was great to see steam at the old station again, the track was laid along the old Up platform at one end there is now a car-park that is level with the old platform, an ideal starting point!
Along the Platform/Track-side there were lots of displays of old Trunks, Suitcases, Luggage Trolley and authentic Signs, all kindly set up by the owner of the Station which is now a private residence!
It looked brilliant with all the Authentic pieces, Bright flowers and bunting alongside the line!
It was a great event, and one we hope was thoroughly enjoyed by all!
