No.70 ‘Phoenix’ back to Swindon and Cricklade Railway

No.70 'Phoenix' at the ESR

Huddswell Clarke No.70 ‘Pheonix’ has left the East Somerset Railway and returned to the Swindon and Cricklade Railway.

But… There is a replacement engine which is in the form of Robert Sephenson & Hawthorn 0-6-0ST No.47 ‘Moorbarrow’. On loan from the Linconshire Wolds Railway.

I will upload an article about it soon, when I get a picture of it.

A very nice engine it is too!

The 56XX No.5637 is also soon to be back in service, around April, May time. Stay tuned for more news!
