Charlton Road Viaduct Event
(A brief overview)
No.3 'Tinkerbell' on the viaduct
Over August Bank Holiday 2009 steam returned to Charlton Road Viaduct in Shepton Mallet.
It was originally part of the former S&D branch to Bath.
Recreation Railways ran a 7 ¼ inch gauge line over most of the 27 arch, Grade II listed structure.
The Viaduct is now owned by Kilver court, which was originally the Babysham factory.
